Alleluia! Christ is risen! The seven-week festival of the Resurrection will continue this week, as we hear John’s stories about the risen Jesus’ stunning appearances with the disciples on Easter evening. We will also encounter Thomas, our brother with many questions, and hear stories from Acts to learn how a faith in the risen Jesus empowered the once fearful disciples into bravely building a church with a life-changing message–work that continues in and through us today.
If the weather is cooperative, we will worship outdoors in the courtyard at 600 Shepard Avenue on Sunday, April 11. In case of inclement weather, we will worship inside in our bright, newly renovated worship space. It is particularly important for us to know if you’re coming if worship is held inside.
