Music is a vital part of our worship at Christ the Good Shepherd, and we invite you to experience and participate in the music together on Sunday mornings! During worship you will hear piano or organ music played by Caroline Henry, our music director, as she accompanies the congregation in singing a variety of hymns and liturgical music.
Throughout 2025, Caroline and the Worship Team have pursued their goal to form a small musical ensemble made up of members of our own congregation. Its purpose: to prepare and offer special music, from a variety of genres, during the part of Sunday service where the offering plates are passed (the time when you might typically have heard the choir). The choice of genre is up to the musicians available, for instance in this past year we’ve heard everything from Gospel to contemporary Christian tunes to folk and meditative-style genres.
Caroline extends a warm invitation to any musicians in (or outside) our congregation!
