Our Mission Statement
CGSLC Outreach is driven by a purpose and mission to extend God’s love and compassion through action by helping to meet the needs of the marginalized and vulnerable beyond the walls of the church.
- We support local service agencies by providing ongoing donations of money, and goods to those in need.
- We grow fresh vegetables in our Lord’s Bounty Community Garden to support community agencies which assist those experiencing food insecurity.
- We bring awareness to environmental and domestic issues.
- We have special drives during the year which focus on seasonal needs in the way of back-packs, Thanksgiving baskets, and Christmas gifts for low income families. In September, we participate in God’s Work. Our Hand’s service activity.
- We support the global initiatives of the ELCA organization
