The final worship service at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd (LCGS) facility, located at 3680 Whitney Avenue, will take place Sunday, June 6, at 10 a.m. Join us for this day of worship, as we gather for the last time at this beloved place the people of LCGS have called home since 1959.
The liturgy will include special prayers for the closing of a church building. We will be joined by former pastors, David Kuck and Daphne Burt, and greetings from the Bishop of our New England Synod, the Rev. James Hazelwood, will be read.
Following worship, join us for Coffee Hour to greet one another and share memories of life together in this sacred place. If you have pictures or other mementos of events held at LCGS, please bring them along to display for others to see and enjoy.
Although Covid restrictions are being loosened, out of continued caution and care for one another, please consider wearing a mask within the gathering.
