The greenery and “asperges” for the baptismal font were made by two children from Christ the Good Shepherd (Tyler and Bryce) as part of our Cross-Generation learning time on Sundays at 9 a.m. On this day, we learned about Isaiah and God’s promises for God’s people. Baptism is our assurance from God of God’s promises of life and love for us, so we decorated the baptismal font and tied branches together to sprinkle the assembly with water from the font in remembrance of the boys’ baptisms as well.
Charlotte Prentice, the 11-month-old daughter of Scott and Nixida Prentice, was baptized in the Christian faith at Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Charlotte’s 2-year-old sister, Aubrey, along with their parents, friends, family members and sponsors were among those on hand for the blessed event.
