More than 40 gifts of toys, shoes and clothing were collected at Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church from November 7 through December 5, in support of the Salvation Army’s “Angel Tree” program. The congregation’s continued support of this program, which provides new clothing and toys for families in need, put Christmas Day smiles on the faces of 10 area children in the Greater New Haven area.
With assistance from churches and other organizations, the Salvation Army of Southern New England was able to assist 169 families through this program in 2020, providing Christmas presents to 338 area children.
Thanks to all who participated!

On December 9, Sharon Napolitano and Starr O’Connor from Christ the Good Shepherd delivered the Angel Tree gifts to the Salvation Army, Southern New England Division in New Haven, where Stella Guitandjiev, Pathway of Hope Manager, greeted them.
