A St. Patrick’s Day-themed coffee hour following the morning worship service on Sunday, March 12, raised more than $500 toward the ELCA’s World Hunger relief campaign. Forty-one people attended the luncheon, which featured a menu of corned beef and cabbage, soda bread and other Irish fare. A free-will offering brought in donations totaling $553; and with a generous matching gift to the New England Synod, the event raised more than $1000 toward the fight against world hunger.
