On Sunday, May 12, Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church welcomed Lucia Joyce, the 9-month-old daughter of Pastor Joshua Sullivan and Madelyn Robertson, through the rite of baptism. Lucia was baptized by the Rev. Dr. Volker Leppin, a professor of historical theology at Yale and a member of our congregation who recently transferred his status as an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament to our Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
