As we have journeyed through Lent, you have been invited to set aside a weekly contribution, the equivalent of the amount of money you would spend on a meal in your household, toward ELCA World Hunger. During the pandemic, hunger, food insecurity and the number of people falling into poverty have all drastically increased, both nationally and globally.
As Lent is now coming to a close, we ask that you bring your generous Lenten World Hunger Offerings to worship on Sunday, March 28, or Easter Sunday, April 4. When writing a check, please make sure to include “World Hunger Offering” in the memo line. Your gifts will make a life-giving difference to so many.
